I played the excellent serie of RPG Final Fantasy starting from FF 7, and I always love the summons, especially Shiva. I love how she appears when you summon her in FF8 and FF10... that's how I get the idea of Mercury breaking the ice coffin!

Some people comment that when she drops the energy ball, it was a reference to her shine aqua mirage in the supers movie Ami's special first love...but honestly, it was random, I didn't even recall her doing that...it was purely coincidental.

-Mars Eternal Power!
I love the fire wings in Zodiac 's deathblow in FF12 and I totally pictured Rei having theses wings in my transformation.

Some people said that the way her skirt move remind them Mars's henshin in the action live serie PGSSM..but again, it was a coincidence.

-Jupiter Eternal Power !
Like Moon Eternal Star Power, I made the whole transformation without any reference or inspiration. But someone said that the way she burst out of the flower looked like something in Digimon ?

-Venus Eternal Power!
Mina kissing her energy ball were something I thought about after seing Nanoha's transformation in strikerS
